My Background:
I have been at Villa for 28 years. I discovered Montessori at the age of 16 and knew it would be my lifelong career path. I got my bachelor's degree in early childhood development and then went to Boulder, Colorado for my Montessori training. I was lucky enough to get a classroom here at Villa and now have a Villa Graduate who is a sophomore in college and a current 6th grader.
I truly believe in the Montessori philosophy and enjoy learning from the children every year. It is an honor to spend the day with your children and raising the next generation together.
My Mission for the Class:
My mission for the class is for each child to find their way at their own speed of learning and enjoy learning. I wish for them to learn how to stand up for themselves and be caretakers of the earth.
