We believe that our students deserve a world that is fair, just, honest, and equitable. At Villa, we want to foster an inclusive and welcoming community where all feel a strong and meaningful sense of belonging. We also want to provide an equitable learning environment that celebrates the diversity of our students, staff, and families. In response to this, the school is planning on providing related professional development opportunities for staff, administration, and the Villa Board of Directors; involve staff and parents in identifying and removing any potential explicit and implicit bias at Villa; purchase resources that include Black, Indigenous and people of color, or BIPOC, as characters, heroes and protagonists; and provide parents, staff, and students with resources on related topics.
