Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day

We invite you to put on your favorite purple shirt and join us on November 14th as we walk to school together in celebration of Ruby Bridges and her courageous walk to school on November 14, 1960. Ruby Bridges' story is one of kindness and friendship. Read more about her story here.

At 7 AM on November 14th, Villa families will park their cars at Los Olivos Park and gather near Devonshire Senior Center, located at 2802 E. Devonshire Ave. Phoenix 85016.

At 7:15 AM, there will be a brief presentation by our students, and at 7:30 AM, we will walk to Villa together. Middle School families will turn at Campbell, and Primary and Elementary families will continue to Meadowbrook. Once students have arrived at school, parents may walk back to Los Olivos Park to retrieve their cars. 

All Villa families and campuses are invited!
