Villa Montessori School educates children from the ages of 3 months to 13 years. Villa is comprised of a private and charter school. The private school serves children from infants to 5 years and offers extended day and enrichment programs to the charter school's students. The charter school serves children from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Villa's program is based on a well-developed Montessori curriculum and philosophy. The integrated curriculum is supplemented with numerous extracurricular programs and resources that stimulate and enrich the child's learning experience. These include individually guided education, outdoor environments, a land lab, foreign languages, fine arts, and sports. As the first Montessori school in Phoenix and one of the first charter schools in Arizona, Villa remains committed to finding innovative and effective ways of meeting the needs of the children it serves.
Villa is a community of parents, teachers, administrators, and friends dedicated to the development of the whole child. They believe in the effectiveness of the Montessori Method as the foundation in this process. Parents, former parents, and the Villa community provide invaluable leadership and support through their time, unique talents, and financial commitment. Our school has been particularly hit hard by recent events. Due to COVID-19, classroom funding has been reduced by approximately 50%. Without these funds, some teachers were not able to buy pre-planned activity supplies. Consequently, your participation is needed more than ever this year. Bridging the gap in school aid is imperative to the effectiveness and success of Villa classrooms. We can't do this alone.
In light of recent events, Villa has postponed its annual gala night and created Villa’s Week of Giving 2021 virtual auction event to support the school’s indispensable teacher assistants and classroom needs.
