Last week we informed you of our plans to remove the dead pine tree near the on the North side of the Early Childhood playground, along Meadowbrook Ave. It has been removed and the children at the ECC campus held a small ceremony saying goodbye to the tree individually and in groups. It was a sweet sight to see.
One of our students went home in tears because her love for the tree was so strong. This led to a generous donation of a new tree to take the place of the old. This donation is beyond appreciated, as we know this tree was a vital source of shade and enjoyment— and it will be missed very much!
Our sincerest gratitude goes out to Dr. & Mrs. Marvin Borsand (Rose & Ruth Glassman’s Grandma & Grandpa) for their donation of a new tree for the Early Childhood Campus. We will keep the community updated on the plans for planting this new tree.
Also, the Capital Campaign is selling stepping stones which will be spiraled around the new tree to showcase all the love and support from our Villa community. If you are interested in purchasing a stepping stone, please contact Claire Bashaw firstname.lastname@example.org
