PTO

The Villa Montessori Parent Teacher Organization aims to keep every member of the Villa Community informed, to encourage creativity, to make it easy to engage with other parents and teachers, to recognize and celebrate the teachers who are essential to the success of our children, and to raise money for critical elements of the educational community.

The VMPTO is a volunteer-driven organization composed of parents, teachers, and administrators.  It was formed in 2014, the year of the school's 50th anniversary.

Every Villa parent is encouraged to volunteer and participate in the capacity that best fits them and their schedule. We look forward to continuing to Grow Greatness Together.

PTO Volunteer Roles

Volunteering is Key to our Success: Villa Montessori is built on the strength of our community. It really does take a VILLAge. With so many ways to get involved either in the classroom or for the school at large, there’s a volunteer opportunity to fit every skill set, interest, and schedule. Find the one that works for you and help make the Villa experience so special for our students and families. Here are a few, but be sure to keep your eyes open for even more opportunities.

Teacher Appreciation Committee: Show our teachers and staff how much they are valued by helping plan and organize appreciation events, treats, and special recognition throughout the year. Committee members collaborate on creative ways to celebrate and support our educators, fostering a positive and grateful school environment.

Time Commitment: 2–3 planning meetings and 8 Teacher Appreciation days throughout the year

Committee members work together to create a fun, engaging experience for students while helping raise funds that directly benefit our school community.
